• 2026: $885,294 guaranteed salary for 14 remaining games
• 2027: $3,775,200 guaranteed salary (base salary plus roster bonus)

Because of prorated signing bonuses typical for 1st round rookie contracts, the Vikings will have dead money from his 2026 roster bonus and prorated signing bonus, plus $3,178,599 in dead cap in 2027 for his prorated signing bonus.

I swear he's gotten one every game since the halfway point of last year

JJ lost the QB competition in training camp. He didn’t even win the backup job. Meanwhile, this was Kyler’s first game since Week 5 of last year, and he was playing without his superstar WR or any kind of running game. The entire offensive scheme changed when Jefferson went down, and honestly, it might not have been a great scheme to begin with.
The fact that people are already talking about what this team needs to do at QB in the future after ONE game is absolute lunacy. We’re 3-0 despite not playing our best football, and we have a great coaching staff that I trust to make the necessary adjustments.
It’s one game. There’s a lot of football left to play. Everybody needs to CHILL.
