Sure, we lost to the Broncos but there were some bright spots about the game and the fact that a 7th Round Pick clutched up for the team when we were down by 4 points after that pick 6 is amazing. I hope he develops further into a WIde Receiver that Stafford can trust more often in the future.

Ive been a longtime Rams fan. My biggest gripe with McVay is his clock management skills.

Our defense stopped the Broncos on the opening 2nd half drive. And in typical McVay fashion we end up punting the ball back to the Broncos with 13:52 left in the 3rd quarter(run on 1st down, two incomplete passes).

In situations we have the lead, McVay doesn't ice the clock at all. Shit last year against the Seahawks we had a lead in the 4th quarter and the offense was snapping the ball with +20 plus seconds left on the play clock. ​

Its just one of those things with McVay I started noticing about 4 years ago. All these close games we lose, we could have won, had we ran a couple more run plays when we had the lead.

Packers made the playoffs at 9-7-1 last year (there were worse teams, but they were division winners). Say we need 10 wins to make it, 11 as a target.

Need to go 1-1 in the next two. Put me down for 5 wins in the 6 game Arizona to Green Bay stretch.

That leaves us needing to grab 3 wins to get to 10, 4 to get to 11. Chiefs, Niners, Cowboys, Seahawks, Bucs, Seahawks again.

My copium is giving me visions of success — get the boys healthy. Sneak into the dance. Get hot at the right time. Both Giants recent-ish Super Bowl wins, Baltimore in 2012, TomPa Bay. If they can, we can.

I see a lot of Rams fans not at all concerned about the losing record early in the season, citing the 3-6 start in 2023, 1-4 start in 2024, and 3-2 start in 2025. The Rams made the playoffs in all of those seasons.

The problem with these early losses that pile up for the Rams is not that they won’t make the playoffs, but it’s that they are the difference between playing @ Philly, @ Seattle, and @ San Francisco in January rather than at home.

The Bucs in 2020 are the only NFC Wild Card team to reach the Super Bowl in the past 15 years. The Rams past 3 seasons have all ended in a road playoff game.

Obviously the season is not over at 1-2. However, the Rams now travel to Philly to face the Eagles, who they are 0-4 against in the last 3 seasons. After that, they get arguably the best team in the NFL, the Bills.

That’s why last nights loss is so frustrating to me. The Rams blew a game in which they were clearly the better team, and now have a major uphill climb to make up ground in our stacked division. Losses like last night can be the difference between playing 2 home games in January versus 3 road games.

Go Rams.

It's time for Mcvay to start tutu and cj Daniels. With the injuries to Ferguson and Parkinsons rams started to abandon the heavy TE sets and running the ball which is why the rams couldn't move the ball in the 3rd quarter.

Having the broncos have 9 mins of the ball in the 3rd quarter vs the rams 3 min is atrocious.

Broncos going 3/3 in red zone while rams went 1/4. The first two field goals forced the rams in a 3rd and long and both plays were plays where rams went conservative and didn't try to score or get the first down. The 3rd field goal was excused because they ran out time before half. The 4th field goal Stafford got sacked on a 3rd and 5 from an unblocked rusher from behind. Which I blame the 2nd down call ...but even the 3rd down was awful. Stafford put kyren for protection in middle which they dropped back and put pressure on left edge...then they had higbee run a short route but he's not fast enough for a short quick throw since they were blitzing and then you have Adams run the deeper route. Imagine if they had tutu run the deeper route and Adams the short route.

Fans are allowed to be pissed about the blatant terrible call, but when others say “Shouldn’t have blown a 16pt lead”, I can’t think of a lazier fucking rebuttal. Why are we acting like a 2 score lead is a monumental blown game?

I would think most of us aren’t casuals that are well aware that no lead is safe in the NFL let alone just 2 scores. Especially when playing on the road to a very good team. And it’s not like the lead was lost all within 3 minutes of the 4th quarter.

The undivided fact of the game is two great teams played a competitive game that was ultimately decided by an awful call. The point of “the game should never been close for a call to matter” is completely irrelevant.

Let’s stop having a pointless civil war over the Denver Referees and move onto Philly for revenge. 🐏
