Past that game, he hasn’t won a game with a negative EPA since week 14 of the 2022 season when he led a game winning drive against the Houston Texans.

When compared to the other 9 QBs listed in ESPN’s top 10 of 2026, the context highlights just how much pressure is on Dak to perform.

Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Joe Burrow all already have games this season with a negative EPA that resulted in a win.

Matt Stafford and Lamar Jackson both have the longest drought besides Dak, weirdly enough both getting their last win Week 11 of last season.

Drake Maye (who would not be ranked in the top 10 anymore) has multiple playoff wins with a negative EPA, including the AFC championship game against the Broncos.

No other QB comes close to Dak, who has to go back to the very start of 2024 for his last win with a bad EPA, and again, I feel important to highlight that it came against Watson at his most unplayable. In 2023 during his MVP candidate season, all 3 games with a negative EPA resulted in blowout losses. The last season he had with multiple wins with a negative EPA was 2021, winning 3 such games.

Even when compared to other great QBs in the NFL, the pressure on Dak Prescott to perform near perfectly to stand a chance against other teams is disproportionate.

The 2 games before the ravens already had concerns with the play calling but I didn’t think it would be THIS much of a problem. I knew we was in for bad play calling the first quarter when I think it showed a stat of Dak being 3/4(correct me if I’m wrong).

I discovered american football through my former best friend in 2012, he was an american kid who was born in dallas and his dad had to transfer to brazil to work and we ended up studying together for five years. In 2012 i was watching the cowboys playing against the giants in a game dallas lost to the giants because dez bryant fell out of bounds with just the tip off his little finger, he explained everything about the game and the rules and i was instantly hooked i've been following the team since that game.

Life happened and my friend moved back to dallas and we ended up losing contact, but my love for the cowboys kept growing on me for some reason.

I never thought i was going to watch them live, i mean i still dream about going to the AT&T with my wife and maybe we will someday, but when i entered maracanã yesterday and saw the cowboys warming up i got really emotional.

I know it sucks for all of guys, specially season ticket holders to lose a home game, i know the players dont like much to travel for 10h to play football, i know the grass was not good and i know most of you dont enjoy the international games.

But i would like to just say thanks for all of you and that this was one of the best days of my life, i talked to a lot of fans, the game was a blast (heartbreaking tho) and the energy in the stadium was off the charts, even my wife who doesnt understand much was at the tip off her seat in the end. I wish we had won, but it was the best. On my way back home my best friend texted me and we talked for hours, i miss him like hell.

TLDR: Thank you all for enduring this international game, it was one of the best days of my life.

I’m definitely pissed about us losing and the play calls at the end of the game by Schotty. But I came to realize something…

We’ve NORMALIZED our defense giving up 400 yards of offense a game so much, that we get mad at the offense for not scoring over 35-40pts a game to win.

Look I’m mad about Schotty’s play calling, and we should’ve won that game. But honestly, at the end of the day, him and the offense did their job when it comes to scoring. 31pts a game would land most teams in the NFL a 3-0 record right now.

Let’s stop letting the defense off the hook! On top of the fact that they supposedly they called man coverage on the last play. SMH

I just wanted to talk about how great Dak has been so far for us even though the last game's ending was frustrating to watch.

Purdy is easily the best this year so far (even though one game was against MIA, he still had 90% completion percentage) but given that a lot of other "elite" QBs like Burrow and Mahomes, who are 2-1 and 3-0 respectively, made this list, it's still good to see how objectively great Dak has been so far.

Even when Purdy and Lamar make this list, having the highest EPA/dropback and the 2nd highest CPOE (I see you, Geno) is easily worth his contract.

Bonus team stats:

• Cowboys are scoring 29.2 pts per game, 5th in the league. Would end up being 2nd best in 2025, behind the Rams 31.5 ppg
• Leads the league in scoring per drive at 61.5%; 49ers and Bills are next best with 59.3% and 53.1% respectively

I know it's early in the season, but just after seeing the Vikings defense the last few weeks,(last few years) I think if Shotty misses the playoffs Brian Flores should head coach.

I understand CP is young and defense takes time but Dak may not have as many healthy years left as we'd like. it's time to give him a proven established defense and who better than Flores. This also is a win for Flores because Dak is miles better than Tua, so he wont really have to worry about that side of the ball. He also seems to be more disciplined than the previous few coaches Dallas had.

I understand offensive coaches are usually what teams go for but the Seahawks just proved you can win with a defensive minded coach. Even Philly won without a true offensive playcaller at Headcoach.

Plus if you're a young OC, Dallas has enough talent to entice you on offense. You go here and do well and you're likely to get a new HC job.

Just my opinion. The season isn't over but at the same time it feels like another wasted year.

Steele got hurt before the play probably because of the garbage field, and Broderick Jones had to come in and his stance was so messed up, that the rusher literally backs up Jones into Dak. Prescott had to throw it away in order to avoid a sack or a fumble. Dak had no time to get that ball to Pickens. He barely had time to throw it away. This wasn't a Schotty mistake, it wasn't a Dak mistake for not throwing the ball to Pickens...it was an OL mistake. Ironically we got burned by Steele not being on the field...

I bought the Kool aid from Schotty and I'm guilty of listening to him about talking about the Superbowl.
