Ok so he’s really bad. He’s a turnover machine and was a failure when he had the best WR in the league on his team. Here is why he will be better here.

1.) the guy won a national Championship under Jim Harbaugh as a game manager in a run heavy offense. Sounds like he played and was successful in a system that we are running here.

2.) the Harbaugh connection. I’m sure Jim is willing to help his brother and give him inside info as to what worked with him in Michigan and what his challenges are. I think our coaching staff has as good is a scouting report on JJ as we possibly could and still made the decision to get him. I doubt this is a favor for JJ as much as it’s a favor for John from his brother Jim.

3.) he is a similar type of player as Dart. Obviously Dart makes better throws and decisions but I think JJ will be able to work the same designed runs that Dart used to do.

4.) A change in scenery can lead to good results. We all saw it with Jones after he left NY. He found a team with a system that can disguise his faults and work to his strengths. I think We can do something similar with 9 here.

5.) If he’s good we can trade him for draft capital. If we can flip him for a 3rd or a player in a position of need it makes this love look very good.

6.) Think of the memes. If 9 beats Philly, Dallas or WAS it’s gonna be funny as hell.

At the end of the day we are fucked and Jameis is not the answer. We need a more mobile quarterback who can get hit on runs and not throw the ball into the dirt. We don’t have Dart so we shouldn’t expect much anyway. Maybe the kid will turn it around and 9 will be serviceable.

New York Giants star pass rusher Brian Burns suffered a torn right ACL on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, per a report from Ian Rapoport.

The injury didn’t look good in the moment, with Burns holding his knee on the ground in obvious pain and pounding the turf in frustration. 

I have never been a JJ McCarthy fan but we traded a 5th for him. Anyone acting like that is “too much” or too valuable for QB who was a 1st round pick doesn’t know who actually gets picked later than round 3.
