Stirred it and noticed it was very soupy. So yes, I counted the noodles. I was extremely disappointed and of course this is the only box I bought 😭

Okay guys, you all gave me a good laugh. I’m glad some were as inconvenienced about this as I was. I did boil some elbow noodles and toss them in there. I did not make nachos or use bread, because my craving was the stupid Stouffer’s mac n cheese. For those mad about me calling them “noodles”, I don’t care. I will continue calling them noodles, be mad 🤣
I am considering contacting Stouffer’s QC, but also it was $5 and I’m fortunate enough to not be in a spot where $5 is a lot.

I’m sitting at the stop sign waiting to turn right. A car turns left onto my street. Instead of swinging out into their own lane, they cut the corner and come straight at me in mine. Yesterday one shaved it so close I had to brake hard to avoid getting hit.

It seems like it happens pretty often. I know I’m not going to change how anyone drives, but it still gets me every time.

Anyone else deal with this?

I chose “mildly infuriating” because being mad about something you can’t control is never a good thing.

Made a cinnamon crumble dessert Saturday after dinner and we each had a small piece. Next day we heading out to run some errands and get dinner when he asked if he could have a piece after he ate. Which I told him was fine.

I get back after a long day and they ate the entire middle of the cake. His excuse was "I didn't like the edges", as if taking the literal entire middle was the only choice he had!

In the game totally accurate battle simulator you can make your own units and upload them for other people to use. In fairness I used a template of a blank space marine I found so I can’t be too mad but I spent multiple hours balancing and recolouring different abilities and weapons and for it to be stolen on the same day with no changes AND for it to be doing better than the original it is a little depressing.

Made some spaghetti, poured it into my trusty colander and gave it a couple shakes to get more water out...and the bottom of the strainer perfectly broke, plopping my fresh food right into the dirty sink. Thanks, plastic, you are the best.

EDIT: lol for all the pedants out there, I moved the piece from under the pasta to show clearly how it broke. I ain't got time to make food and ruin it, and making my hungry kids wait another 30 minutes for dinner was annoying

EDIT 2: yes, plastic colander is dumb and I absolutely upgraded to something more suitable after this sad event

I ignored $3,817.79 in medical debt, because fuck that. Got a letter from debt collections that says I now only owe $202.27.
If I had been a ‘good patient’ and paid when the bills originally came I’d be out thousands of dollars.
Still not paying it.

My credit is great. Medical debt isn’t like normal debt and I keep up with my states laws/regulations so I know what bills I need to fight and what bills I can ignore. It’s worth learning how to work the system so you don’t get fucked by it. Fighting bullshit medical charges/denials on my patients behalf is lowkey my favorite part of work. Fuuuuuucccckk those guys

I’m getting rid of this car after owning it for 13 years. This thing never let me down, but there’s one design choice I could never get over. These buttons.

The hang up button is on top and convex, while the pick up button is on the bottom and concave.

It always seemed completely backwards to me. The pick up button should be on top and convex. Both of those things physically communicate “up” so you could tell which button you were pressing by feel without having to look down at the symbols.

Thirteen years with this car and these buttons never stopped tripping me up.

I understand that, under alphabetical sorting, numbers can come before letters (which is why 1917 and 101 Dalmatians appear at the top of my list) but it clearly knows how to handle sequels and Inside Out 2 is just tagged wrong

I purchased these two trimmers two years apart, but they are incompatible with each other. What’s the point of this?
