The Corrupted Blood plague
In 2005, World of Warcraft accidentally caused a virtual pandemic when a boss fight introduced a disease called Corrupted Blood. Players unknowingly carried it out of the dungeon and spread it through crowded cities, killing low level characters in seconds. Some players tried to help the infected, others deliberately spread it, and entire cities became death zones. The outbreak caused so much chaos that Blizzard had to intervene with server resets and patches. Epidemiologists later studied it as a model for how real pandemics spread.

Sharing My Sidehustle Trash Pizza Paid My Bills
Not sure if this a weird side hustle, but I figured I’d share it anyway. I started getting paid to pick up leftover pizza and give it to homeless people in my area.
I live a few blocks from Roosevelt Row in Phoenix, and there’s a little pizza place I pass all the time. I started noticing how much pizza they threw out after closing, so I started checking the dumpster and taking whatever was still wrapped or looked untouched. I’d put it in a clean box and take it around to the homeless people I usually saw in the area. I kept doing it because I hated seeing good food go to waste.
The owner noticed what I was doing and asked me about it. I told him I was taking the pizza to people who needed food. He liked that I was finding a use for the leftovers, so he asked for my number and offered to give me $25 to keep doing it. After that, his employees started setting the leftover pizza aside for me instead of throwing it away, so I didn’t have to get it from the dumpster anymore. They’d text me when they had some ready, and I’d stop by after closing, pick it up, and take it around to the same people. I was doing it for free before, and now I make around $300 a month from it plus it can cover my bills.

My identical twin sister and me work as the same barista
I genuinely don’t know if this is even that bad but I can’t tell anyone I know irl because there’s a pretty good chance we’d both get in trouble lol.
I’m 18 and I have an identical twin sister. For the past month we’ve secretly been working as the same barista.
I got the job first. One day I was sick and jokingly asked my sister to cover my shift pretending to be me. I gave her my uniform, name tag, etc. and explained everything. Somehow nobody noticed.
It was supposed to happen once, but then she covered another shift and another. Now we literally look at my schedule and decide who’s working.
My manager recently praised me for never calling out sick.
Like idk if we could actually get in serious trouble for this or if we’d just get fired, but it’s gone on way too long to admit it now. Every time we say we’re gonna stop, one of us ends up covering another shift…
