People often say they'd love to see a period-set Bond movie but I don't see Eon ever going for it, for one reason: product placement opportunities would be extremely limited, and that's the backbone of the entire Thing.

Could be a really fun movie with an older 007 forced out of retirement due to an old rival re-emerging for revenge. Add in a semi buddy cop styled narrative with old 007 still being solidly badass, and the fresh out of training young(ish) 007 (Taron Egerton perhaps? Richard Madden?) eager to impress, and a little star struck. At some point, young 007 has a crisis of confidence due to making a mess of it due to trying too hard to impress, and old 007 has to step in with pure class and poise to rescue the situation.

I am a nurse; I had a 63-year-old patient, privately insured and in excellent health, who tried to go to the bathroom three times!!!! without noticing the IV line connected to his arm. He tried to rip it out forcefully, tearing the skin and causing bleeding(all floor, dress, bathroom in blood), just so he could go to the toilet to urinate. He attempted all of this even though he already had a catheter in place (inserted specifically to ensure bed comfort and prevent him from wetting the bed). He was a relatively fit, healthy man with no psychological issues. Only came to us because he had pressure feeling on his chest.

Sometimes I am fascinated and baffled by how vastly different people can be. While some are incredibly dim-witted, with skin hanging off their bones as if it didn't even belong to them, others are over seventy yet so charismatic, successful, and handsome that they could have the whole beach chasing after them.
