Forever New Blue Post in Response to Recent Streamer RMT Concern
Doubling down on the intent to aggressively ban gold buyers.

Forever Beta Feedback Blizzard's golden opportunity to show they meant it.
Blizzard stated that anyone who buys gold in WoW Forever will receive a permanent ban from all their games on said account.
Bots and gold sellers / are already active in Forever Beta access. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's true, and it says a lot about what it's going to be like on the actual live release.
What is their "amazing" opportunity?
I really like some of these streamers, however, people seeing them get away with such blatant RMT is just going to embolden a lot of people to do the same. On the other hand, it might sound harsh, but they are the best targets to make an example of.
They just got handed the best possible way of dealing with this: Make a statement that they actually meant it, boot all the streamers from the Beta who bought gold, and give them their "second chance" at launch.
This is the only time they can do this. After the release, you will either have to deal with the public outrage over preferential treatment or losing your content creator that promotes your game.
Acting on it now and ending it with a slap on the wrist just because it's "beta access", you technically can get away with it all.
Basically the perfect "have your cake and eat it too" situation. Sending out huge messages through banning streamers, and still benefiting from them after launch.
TL;DR: Blizzard has a unique opportunity to enforce its RMT rules during Beta. Remove streamers who bought gold from the Beta, make it clear that RMT has consequences, then let them start fresh at launch. It sends a strong message without permanently banning them, and avoids the appearance of giving streamers preferential treatment.
Edit:
For people saying why not just perma, sorry to tell you but Blizz will not ban their big streamers who do most of their advertising for free. My idea could show an example while being something that is in the realm of possibility of them doing.
Streamers should be cautious of taking handouts. You will never be able to prove if it was a huge fan or just a goldseller bot, or a huge fan who bought the gold. You need to draw a line somewhere.

Forever Streamers blatantly receiving bought gold is worrying for the future of Forever
I know many of you are extremely optimistic about the future of Forever and how Blizzard is taking things seriously this time and everything will be different, but the gold buying surrounding the dueling tournament should be a huge red flag to you that nothing will change.
Aggrend literally promised that they will aggressively punish gold buyers and now is a golden opportunity to publicly prove it. Watch them do nothing. The unfortunate reality is that the devs are literally just pandering and saying what people want to hear without any real plan or intention to follow through. Any SOD players remember the "GMs" who were active on day 1 and then nowhere to be found ever again lmao.
I'd genuinely be happy to be proven wrong, I want forever to succeed just as much as the rest of you, but as someone who has become intimately familiar with how Blizzard operates for the past 10 years I can promise you that exactly nothing will happen here.

Forever Beta Feedback Layering doesn't exist in Wow forever. This garbage is CRZ/sharding.
I keep seeing people talk about layering (devs included) as if it is the same thing we had in classic. Layering, as a concept, was the idea that an ENTIRE continent was a single layer and housed a certain number of people.
What we have in wow forever is simply sharding/CRZ (cross-realm-zones). This is a different "layer, zone" per individual leveling area. This is what came into retail wow, and is why when you switch zones you phase away. Layering was created with the sole intention of preventing the EXACT situation happening now between zones.
It is abhorrent, immersion-breaking, and needs to go. Bring true layering back.
And if they ARE using layering, then you should NEVER layer someone on zone transition; especially automatically without that new prompt.
Probably my second biggest gripe in retail past flying mounts is that the world isn't continuous. Seeing people and even mobs pop in and out on zone switches is about as immersion breaking as if every zone just had a big portal you stepped through to get to the next zone. Hell, at least the portals would make sense.
Edit: I am seeing people here and otherwise claim I'm making up layering being "whole continents." Or maybe not being familiar with the original intention of layering.
Straight from the OG Classic Dev's mouths.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3b423uqrdo&t=221s
"We, effectively, built up new technology. We’re kinda calling it Layering and this new technology kinda allows us to span World of Warcraft Continents wholesale. So an entire Eastern Kingdoms and entire Kalimdor is sort of one single seamless continuous world that all players will be able to play in. However for launch we will be able to have, if we need to, more than one of those continuous worlds […] Once you’re kind of in one of these layers we try to keep you kind of sticking to it so for example if you start off in Elwyn Forest […] during that play session if you move on to other zones you know all the way north you will still be sharing the same continent."

Forever Beta Feedback RMT crack down should effect streamers?
Blizzard mentioned that people caught buying gold will receive a ban. So the first step to attempt to circumvent it would be. Buy gold on a level 1 fresh account and send/trade to a different account.
So if blizz flags that as well, which they obviously should, would that also flag streamers?

Forever Beta Feedback Please give us an RP-PvP Server
Make PvP Townraids an alternate honor farm. Quests to raid enemy towns, with actually big rewards. Ultimately culminating in a quest to kill the enemy faction leader. Give said faction leaders actual boss mechanics and make them pvp-worldbosses with powerful unique loottables. Maybe weeklies to go in and do certain objectives in enemy settlements and towns. Imagine poisoning supplies as a forsaken for example.

Forever The Caverns of Time should be a huge content focus!
We have such an incredible opportunity in Forever for so many things to be explored. I think the first among them should be the caverns of time!
What a better place to introduce events that only happened in the books, side media, or in Warcraft 1/2/3 that many players may not be aware of!
Imagine a dungeon where you play as the Blackrock Orcs capturing the Red Dragons.
Or As the Human and Elf Alliance fighting back the Amani Trolls.
Or taking part in the battle between Doomhammer and Lothar.
Defending Quel'Thalas against Arthas.
Broxigar Saurfang!
Even other things that were never shown in the games or books, but we know happened in the background!
Xalatath's Rebellion against the Black Empire.
How Illidan gets the Warglaves of Azinoth.
The fall of the Aldrachi
For those of you who played Guild Wars 2, it would love to see it function like the Fractals! As you move through more and more moments in history, you can stack up resistance to some arbitrary obstacle (like Agony, in the Fractals) that lets you access harder and harder variations. (BUT NOT HOW M+ DOES IT! I'm talking things that change up the gameplay, not just "buff up enemy damage and health")
Anyway, is this a Hot Take, or am I cooking something here?

Forever Streamers already "buying" gold in forever
With the upcoming PVP tournament it's extremely clear that streamers will still be "buying" gold and ruining the economy in forever, unless blizzard actually shows they are serious about the commitment to ban gold buyers
Here are two clips of Ziqo being traded 380 gold and 175 gold from level 1 characters. All while just laughing about it, there is 0% chance that any of that gold was gained legitimately and they know it.
If you can skirt the gold buying rules by just having a lvl 1 character trade it to you what's even the point
https://www.twitch.tv/ziqoftw/clip/ColdbloodedBlazingMonitorRalpherZ-G-kGDsecnPTHCCjQ https://www.twitch.tv/ziqoftw/clip/TemperedBadSalamanderSwiftRage-GtZ7RhtpO-ecnta4
Blizzard needs to show that they actually care if it's already this blatant on the beta then it will be even worse when the game goes live
There is no proof that Ziqo himself bought any of the gold, but whether it's him or his viewers doing the crime on his behalf the effects are the same, and they should both be punished

Forever Album: Wardens and Spellbreakers? How about 1-combined class skin?
I've seen a lot of discussion lately about adding heroes/units from the Warcraft 3 RTS as new classes in WoW Forever recently (horizontal content progression). The main objection is always that such a hero-concept only works for one race+class combo. For example: a n-elf warden or b-elf spellbreaker is not a universal archetype like warrior/mage/hunter/priest which has a generic label that works for most of WoW's races and fantasies.
So, here's my 2-cents on combining a concept that works cross-faction (alliance, horde--or even Illidari). I've always thought these two concepts in lore had a lot of overlap in being anti-magic hunters and might even be potentially extendable to themes like the Scarlet Crusade if the definition is stretched enough.
