Like if you’d prefer another class just say so. But the amount of people who try to claim it doesn’t fit the fantasy when we’ve been fighting with machinery since Warcraft 2 and there’s never been a version of WoW without mech suits and bombs and stuff is just so strange to me. We don’t even need to advance past classic to see that.

With the horizontal progression approach and dedicated RP "Ruleset" more open world places you can visit with friends and guild members or to create new friendships should be made more apart from campfires in WoW Forever.

FFXIV had the Golden saucer which featured:

• Casino-style games
• racing
• minigames
• Shows / Performances - I remember WoW had the Elite Taren chieftain in the game!
• Golden Saucer currency to exchange for rewards / cosmetics in that area.
• Events / Activities.

I understand we have the Darkmoon faire but we need something adding to it! it feels too boring just a few vendors and the way retail did it was just repeatable quests.

I have seen a new coliseum in Orgrimmar, imagine Live Mak'Gora Events hosted in the arena which you could watch live!

How about some racing in Thousand needles near the quest hub? - Similar to Mario Kart but super basic.

Some form of basic hearthstone / WoW related game you could play inside inns which people can play and bet against each other for up to 1gold or other friendly wagers XD

I would love the use of instruments in WoW, playing in taverns or at live events in game or stood in cities or private events its cool!

There are very cool Elements FFXIV did right and Blizzard could do their own take or in a separate manner.

One of the best and most meme’d aspects of The Witcher 3 is that Gwent is the real game and the Witcher aspects are side content. Not only can you do a world tour just looking for new cards or rare cards, but you can even resolve certain storylines and side quests playing Gwent/choosing it as a dialogue option.

Blizzard loves stealing ideas from other games. They went through the trouble of building an entire digital card game. And it’s a Warcraft themed card game. One that exists in universe.

So why can’t you play Hearthstone inside of WoW?

And now that Housing exists….like it just seems even more like a no brainer. You could host game night literally inside your WoW house.

Or to take it even further, Blizzard could host Hearthstone tournaments…inside of WoW. They could reopen The Gallagio or repurpose Gallywix’s pleasure barge as a Hearthstone area, FFXIV Golden Saucer style.

It’s obviously fine to want Hearthstone as its own standalone client, but not having some version of it playable in-game seems like a huge missed opportunity.

WoW is always in need of “non-combat” activities. It would be really cool and immersive if instead of “go collect X things” or “destroy Y mobs”, you could have a quest option of “gamble against Z NPC in a Hearthstone game”. They could have themed PVE battles similar to the high end pet battles they used to have.

Not to mention the possibilities of having cards discoverable or earnable or craftable in game. The possibility of letting players sell copies of cards for gold. Seeing Housing items drop now.…it wouldn’t be weird at all to see a Hearthstone card drop as loot.

Hearthstone is far from its peak, so this opportunity is probably over tbh, but I find it wild that Blizzard never tried to integrate Hearthstone into WoW more.

Having an in-universe card game that is deeply integrated into the game world is just so incredibly immersive. Gwent actually did the reverse, where it later became its own standalone game, so I’m shocked Blizzard never tried integrating Hearthstone more into WoW.

It was quite an exhausting month, but I did it, I'm ready, Blizz bring me the purple long boi!!!

This was done mostly with an army of alts doing skinning, alchemy and gold world quests

PS: before anyone jumps in with the token stuff, minimum wage in our country is roughly 1.5$/h, and I actually enjoy farming gold.

What do you mean I can't use the same transmog for all of my characters? I spent chicken nugget money on this!

Just looking to broaden my horizons. My personal favorite is probably discordiankitty's lore dives but I'm also an enjoyer of Shobek's duels and Cabbage's slow walks through Azeroth.

Who else should I be watching?

Edit: TY to all who commented. I now have weeks/months worth of things to watch and couldn't be more excited to start. You may as well keep them coming, I have a VERY boring job and always need to fill time.

I died 23 times in Felwood and 10 times in Winterspring, but I managed to make it to Mount Hyjal, where I proceeded to die MANY more times while exploring.

I found a talking crow who proceeded to call me a slur (who my guildmate noted could be a good one for Skyborne to call the other races of Azeroth). I found a Gnome hanging from a tree by his parachute, a lot of talking animals called "wild gods", a group of skunks surrounding a fallen tree who will spray you with their stink if you get to close, which does nothing but turn you green and slow you down for a few seconds. There was a man, living in a Yoda Degobah like hut, named Punchy and beyond that, a large group of demons you have to fight through (or die a bunch of times, as I did). Once you reach the summit, you come upon the famous large skeleton stuck in the tree roots, a little "town" filled with hostile mobs so you're still not even really safe when you get there and across a bridge, more hostiles, including some Night Elf cultists. There's also a large green instance portal with a summoning stone that I was unable to enter, I just walked through and into an invisible wall.

The area also has 3 graveyards, which I marked with red circles on the map, the second (middle) graveyard, being in a safe zone for both Horde and Alliance, their respective camps being separated by a small wooden wall.

I'm curious, have any of you ever made your own lore or backstory for the characters you play in WoW?

I'm still really new to the game, so I honestly find that side of it super interesting. Like giving your character a personality, history, reason for being where they are, or even connecting them to parts of the actual WoW lore.
