Unsolved Moca 2.5 adapter with xfinity xb8

So i have one Gocoax 2.5 moca adapter. I have my xb8 downstairs connected to the coaxial outlet that's activated by xfinity.

I went on the xfinity control panel and enabled moca connection.

Then i went upstairs and plugged the moca adapter into my coaxial outlet upstairs near my computer. And plugged the ethernet cable into my Desktop. And i cannot get it to work.

Do i need to have two of these adapters to setup? What am i missing here?

In theory the Xfinity XB8 is the other adapter, so you should not need a second goCoax.

Ensure that any splitters between the XB8 and the goCoax adapter are MoCA-rated. The ones that were installed for cable/satellite TV generally were not and block the higher frequencies used by MoCA. Also, you should get a MoCA point-of-entry filter and put it where the cable comes into your house (but not between the XB8 and your goCoax adapter).

okay i know my splitter is in the attic i seen all the cords should i just replace any splitters i see with moca ones (i have no clue where all they go lol)
