welcome home pumpkin! 🎃 feels nice adopting an adult this time. she’s 5 years young!

I had a busy day and didn’t start the laundry until much later than normal. Waiting for the last load to finish drying and miss Rainbow is having none of my BS. Her turndown service and bedtime lap is expected at 8pm on the dot and this was at 8:42. 🫣

I knew what I would find, just not what color it would be. 😹

We decided on the name Marigold for now, but it may change while we become more familiar with her personality. ♥️ She was born April 20th this year lol

Had to keep her at my father's for a while, our landlord only allowed us one cat up until very recently. I'm so happy to have my first cat, I love the cat that's staying with us but he's not ours, we're holding on to him until our friend finds housing. They both get along wonderfully ♥️♥️

19 years ago today I walked into a two room cattery with a walkway between rooms in the ceiling.

I was booped on the head by this beautiful lady before she climbed into my lap and fell asleep. She was 6 months old.

It was love at first boop.

Not using my clicker in the video cause dog was in the room and is scared of it but so far have taught her to sit and to meow. She also learned to come when I make a certain noise. Shes definitely the most trainable cat I’ve had just because she loves treats and my attention so much.

Our tortie is so tiny compared to her son 😭she's barely 8 pounds and he is pushing 20. We thought she was spayed when we got her, and then after she got out for 5 weeks, surprise! 8 kittens in our bed. We kept the RUNT and he somehow ended up bigger than all of his siblings and his mom. He is 5 now, and Maggie is almost 12. She has a lot of issues with having accidents since she got spayed a few months after the kittens (they clipped her urethra), but love her anyway 💕

She was estimated to be about 8 years old in 2016. She has no more teeth. She walks with a limp. She’s the absolute sweetest animal. Loves people and pets and food! She’s now the poster cat for Solencia - the cat monoclonal antibody injection for arthritis and inflammation. Her whole personality bloomed when she was no longer in pain. I love her so much!

Just dropped off bestie boo at the animal hospital today for her I-131 (radioactive iodine) treatment this morning and I am so nervous! She is already there so please do not tell me any horror stories right now about bad experiences because my anxiety is already through the roof 😭 We tried the topical medication first to treat her hyperthyroidism but turns out she’s allergic to it :/ so our options were trying to address the issue with special food (we would also have to bring her in anywhere from 2/month to every other month to do bloodwork which adds UP) or the I-131 treatment. We decided to go with this after hearing a lot of positive reviews. However, she’s my baby and was the first real pet I owned in adulthood, so I can’t help but worry how things will go (why can’t they just live forever?). Pic of our Ivy girl 💗

I thought she was a dilute tortie, but my vet tech said diluted calico. She’s a cutie either way though.

Cute little monkey wandered in like she owned the place. I guess she does! We have named her Cutie!

My Zara has decided I do not need to crochet anymore tonight, that the blanket is done and it belongs to her.
