I feel genuinely lost trying to figure out how to make extra income right now.

I’ve always been a really resourceful person. If I needed to make something happen, I could usually figure it out. I’d research, hustle, learn something new, pivot, whatever. I’ve never really felt like someone who just sits around waiting for an opportunity.

And I’m an insanely hard worker. That’s part of why this is messing with me so much. I’m not afraid of long days, learning something difficult, starting from the bottom, doing repetitive work, or putting in a ridiculous amount of effort if I can see that it’s actually leading somewhere.

But lately I’ve been trying to find a meaningful way to supplement my income and I feel completely stuck.

I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of freelancing, reselling, Etsy, digital products, online services, AI, content creation, affiliate stuff, etc. I keep finding things that technically “make money,” but either the income ceiling seems really low, it takes forever to build, or the hardest part is somehow finding customers out of thin air.

Maybe part of my problem is that my income requirements are higher than what most people mean when they say “side hustle.” I’m not really looking for an extra $200 a month. I’m trying to find something I can seriously build into meaningful monthly income.

I’m willing to work. I’m willing to learn. I’m willing to grind. I just genuinely don’t understand why I can’t seem to find the path right now.

That’s the part that’s getting to me. I used to feel like I could tackle almost anything and figure it out somehow. Right now I feel like I’m staring at a thousand options and somehow none of them feel solid.
