Dave Barry once wrote that he had several dogs over the course of his life and that “each one of them was the best dog in the world in their own way.” I thought that was a great way to put it.
All dogs are the best dogs. But if you have to make a number 1, I will respectfully disagree with you and offer the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel as the best.
I don't necessarily hate dogs, I just don't care for the jumping and the barking, plus I can't stand the smell.
If you have a low key dog that's reasonably groomed I'm fine around them.
i always thought i was a dog person but then i realized im only a dog person when the dog behaves lol. i do not like our neighbors dog because this dog does pretty much nothing but barks and charges at people to bark more in their face. and the owners are afraid to properly discipline the dog

You can train a dog to not jump and train them when it’s ok to bark (dogs bark, you can’t train it out of them it’s often an involuntary response to stimuli, but you can train them when it’s appropriate to do it).

This was my thought. Save Taylor Swift, get huge reward, use it to fund spay/neuter programs, donate to no-kill shelters, fund transportation from kill shelters to no kill shelters as spots open up. Save hundreds of dogs.
Taylor swift is almost 6 feet tall and very athletic, probably 165 of pure muscle from all her dancing / choreography on stage. She’s not tiny. Save the dog.

Sooo, two rapists and one accomplice of a rapist that helps him harass and intimidate his victims, and is also an anti-vaxxer and Trumper, an annoying famous-for-being-famous nepo baby of the guy who defended OJ Simpson, a pop singer about whose music idc, and a dog. That’s an easy choice. Taylor Swift can come too if I can get her without excessive risk, but the dog is priority.
