Today at Fiber Arts Group, I finished #needlefelting #holothewisewolf in her giant Wolf form the #lightnovel and #anime series #spiceandwolf . I started working on her on Thursday and wanted to finish her two days ago, but unfortunately I didn't get enough sleep the day before, due to the temperature in the house. Spice and Wolf was one of the first Anime that I found streaming on YouTube back in the day, when I stopped watching YTV, I was around 15 or 16 when I first discovered it on a Otaku USA magazine that I read in Walmart while waiting for my parents to finish up shopping. 17 years later, I'm waiting for the sequel to come out as a happier and more sociable adult who is friendlier and more outgoing.

If you ever wondered who has the most complete collection of Holo and Spice and Wolf stuff. I think zu this dude has. Absolutely crazy. He now finally displayed everything nicely in a whole room.

I haven't seen any larger collection than this one.

Recently I was on Twitter looking at Spice and Wolf posts, when I stumbled upon a pretty influential mangaka talk about how their favourite work from Isuna Hasekura was actually 'Sleep in Magdala'.

Curiously, the Light novel remained in Japanese only, while the manga got French and German translations. I absolutely love Spice and Wolf, so I think it would be fantastic if we also got to see Magdala de Nemure also translated into English.

Would anyone be interested in contacting Yen Press with me to ask? I'm hoping maybe if we get enough people, they'll consider it. Thank you!

Hi r/SpiceandWolf, I've been looking on Audible after finishing Vol 18 and it says that 19 is unavailable in my region (Australia) but vol. 20 is available.

Has anyone else noticed this and can confirm if it is just wrongly numbered or not? I checked the Yen releases (dates aren't always accurate on their own site though) and it says 20 isn't out til Jan 2027. Thanks for the help!

Edit/Update: Yen Press IG account responded to me raising this to them, they're investigating. Hopefully fixed soon!

I bought these from amiami(I think) as "used" last year, and when they came in they were completely unopened in original packaging! After keeping them unopened for quite a while, I decided I wanted to display them with my other stuff, and they just look so good!

I did a similar piece 10 months ago. I decided to redo it to see what progress I've made.

After months of working on this on and off, I completed and wore my cosplay of the wolf. All the details are hand sewn and the tail is there just behind me in the picture. Holo has been an absolute favorite of mine for a while and it was wonderful getting to portray her in anticipation of the next season of Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf!

This lovely came in today. First time I use a 3rd party to order something (worldshopping) and I'm happy that I didn't get ripped off and that I have this lovely cup. Now I need some apple cider. I'm also waiting for the large mug. Man, I'm super happy

I am very into the series - and photography. I was hoping one day i can see someone cosplay her in the local community so that i can take a picture for memorials, but the chance is kinda slim to none, so i decide to realize the ambition myself, and to start a series of projects.

I stopped by the exhibition being held at Fuji University in Tokyo today (9/11), it was 1500 yen to enter which I paid by just walking in.

It was a very nice, quiet atmosphere with Kevin Penkin's music playing in the background.

There was also a raffle held a few weeks earlier for a signing event on 9/12 but sadly you needed a japanese address/phone number to enter.

Apologies for the bad pic quality, I'm no photographer lol. There was also a notebook for anyone to leave a message in, which I wrote a couple things in.

It's only letting me attach one image, but this is what it says in the search list, but when I click it, it only gives me the option to watch season 2, and in the more details tab, it said "1 season, 12 episodes" before, but for some reason now that I went back to double check, it changed to "2 seasons, 25 episodes" but it still only shows season 2. It's like it can't make up its mind, but it still won't show season 1

Hello, I'm new to the series. Basically I wanted to ask if it would make sense to watch the original anime and then pick up from S2 of the remake when it's out. From my understanding the original anime adapts volumes 1, 2, 3, 5 while the first season of the remakes adapts volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, but the feel/presentation of the original seems a bit more to my liking. So even if end up skipping volume 4 and repeating volume 5, could I watch the original and then pick up from S2 of the remake when it comes out, or is the tonal shift too much between the two adaptations that I would need to restart from S1 of the remake?
