In Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, 18-year-old Neha was killed by her Muslim boyfriend and three associates.

Police say the accused had planned the crime and fled with around 1.35 lakh in cash and jewellery belonging to Neha's family.

The accused included Sameer, Arshad, a minor and Arsalan.

Police have arrested all four, and the stolen cash, jewellery and mobile phone have reportedly been recovered.

Police said the investigation was aided by a headphone allegedly left at the scene, along with surveillance evidence.

What can we actually do about this?

It feels like every major political party is more focused on vote-bank politics than on building a genuinely merit-based and opportunity-driven system. The proposed 73% reservation in MP has only made this frustration stronger.

I genuinely don't know what options an ordinary voter has when none of the major parties represent what they believe. In the last state assembly election, I ended up voting NOTA, but I'm still not sure how effective it actually is.

Should we vote for smaller parties, independents, NOTA, or try to engage more directly with our representatives?

It honestly feels helpless when you don't feel represented by any of the available choices. What do you guys think?
