I am talking about the people who live in hot places like AZ and buy huskies specifically like from breeders and dress their dog up.

Its cruel. It’s not okay. Huskies and snow dogs ARE NOT built for hot weather AT ALL.

When I went to Alaska I took a helicopter to a glacier to see some sled dogs (huskies included). It was summer time but still below freezing and snow on the ground. Those dogs were panting.

To the people who own huskies just because they like the breed and don’t do any actual research or care about anything other than aesthetics— you are cruel, and you are selfish and ignorant.

If you can't afford the necessities for your children, including clothes,food,shelter, and toys( it's important for development), or you are barely getting by, do not plan a kid.

We need to start having better nighttime transport options. A lot of people work not evenings all nights and don't have vehicles and rely on public transport but those buses and trains are horrendous. If they decide to cancel the Last Vehicle of the night you are stranded sometimes several cities away from home. I've seen people who've been forced to sleep in the shelters or in train stations because the last train was cancelled all the last bus decided it was going to leave 15 minutes early. If we were to have a system where we got two bosses and our throughout the night not only would it be far safer for everybody but people would be able to take on more jobs and not be relying on their cars as much. I would certainly love it if I didn't have to end a night early when going to a gig or an event because it finishes at 11 but the last train is at 10 past and it takes 30 minutes to get from the station to the venue. Not to mention letting out times at bars and clubs at night would likely see more business if people weren't fearful of not being able to get a cab or getting stuck walking home

But then you find someone who looks like you, comes from the same background, or belongs to the same group who is rich, successful, talented, famous, etc.

And that’s where group pride can become unhealthy. It gives people a way to feel accomplished without actually accomplishing anything themselves.

There’s nothing wrong with being happy when someone from your background succeeds. But when another person’s success becomes your entire source of self-esteem, you’re basically living vicariously through a stranger.

At some point, you have to ask:

As an Atheist on the outside looking in, you should either follow All of the rules or none at all. It's not about their feelings of feeling inadequate or missing out or being left behind and having to catch up. It's the fact they don't know how they are as a person in a committed relationship. They might realize they don't even want a long term relationship. They don't know what they want or what they like. They don't know or have any boundaries or know what they would be willing to compromise on. They might find sex to be great or not that big of a deal. They find out what their love language is and so on and so forth

By the time most men achieve an active and consistent dating life, most women already had all kinds of dating and relationship experiences and know what they want because they learned through those experiences. They are keen and won't settle even though some women are willing to date an inexperienced man but they end up realizing they don't have the patience for it. And women will call these men immature because they are literally trying to figure things out for themselves.

I'm not going to debate who is to blame but this is what is happening a lot now and women are frustrated that even older men don't want to commit.

Edit: I'm not self proclaiming I don't have any dating or relationship experience. I'm in my mid 30s and it wasn't until my late 20s I started getting attention from women. If I had the experiences I have now in my 20s, it would probably be a lot different for me.

Women who call little girls “fast”

If you have never experienced or encountered this, then this won’t make sense but as a girl growing up, especially as a black girl, all my life I have heard older women in my family refer to little girls as “fast” basically saying they’re hoes, and only targeting little and teenage girls, it’s disgusting and still hear it and see it till this day thrown at younger girls. It makes me sick how much women are complicit in patriarchy & instead of calling out grooming and predatory men, they’d rather place the blame on fucking children. Or they use it to shame girls in puberty, if they get their period too early or get bigger boobs.

We don’t call out women enough in their harm against other women and girls. And the funniest shit, it’s always grown ass women saying this yet they’ll be crying about some man “playing” them at age 49. So your big, grown, adult, competent ass can be “manipulated” but a literal child can’t be groomed? Girl bye, you have the mindset and experience, they don’t, they’re not mentally developed. Same type of women who tell their daughters to wear shorts around their man, or say “boys will be boys”

A character can talk to someone who’s obviously important, then walk away and literally say “huh, I just talked to someone really important.”

It insults viewers who can understand what’s happening by assuming they won’t mind sitting through moments where “slower” audiences get spoon-fed obvious information for the sake of accessibility (we mind it a lot).

And it patronizes the people who supposedly need the explanation too. It basically says “Some of you are genuinely too dumb to get this, so we’re going to spell it out for you.”

I really hate this style of writing. It makes movies and shows feel like a checklist of formulaic target audience pandering.

I feel like the outrage of shitting in school stems from a lack of confidence and a concentration on other people's opinions, which people really need to get over. I've heard grown ass highschoolers laugh at other people for taking shits at school because it's "disgusting". Like, grow up.

But the "sensitiveness", online debates that grow insulting, and the amount of social bitterness in general is caused by a lack of community and collective culture - especially in the US. There is no reason for half of the "cancel" culture moves, which attack celebrities or just normal people on social media and ruin their future for things that otherwise are truly not that serious (in special cases they are appropriate, such as people who regularly use slurs or extremely harmful rhetoric/actions). This is all because of devisive rhetoric pushed by schools, politicians, and people that can survive cancel culture (because they're rich enough or "loved" enough to get out of it). As someone who is extremely political active (locally, statewide, and nationally), has worked in the field, and studies politics at a T25, I truly do think I am entitled to this argument. Everyone just needs to stop trying to out woke each other....

When a child does something wrong, the parent’s job is to figure out what they need to learn and teach it. That takes time. You might have to stop what you’re doing, repeat yourself fifty times, leave the store, pull the car over, or accept that your kid’s behavior is making you look bad in public.

Or you can hit someone smaller than you and get an immediate reaction.

That’s why I don’t buy it when people talk about spanking like it’s the brave, tough way to parent. It’s the option that puts the least burden on the adult in that moment. The child absorbs the pain, the fear, and the lesson that the person they trust most will hurt them when they’re inconvenient.

People also argue that young kids aren’t fully developed and can’t understand explanations, but they can understand pain. Okay so if they’re too young to understand why their behavior was dangerous or wrong, why would they be old enough to understand why the person who is supposed to love them most and keep them safe is hurting them? Why assume the lesson they take away is “I shouldn’t do that again” instead of “Mom or Dad might hurt me”?

To me, that argument makes spanking sound even lazier. You don’t want to stop, sit with your child, explain things in a way they can understand, and keep doing it when the first explanation doesn’t magically work. It’s annoying and it’s hard. But that’s what you sign up for when you have a kid. If they’re too young to understand the rule, they need more help and supervision from you, not a smack.

If your discipline only works because your child is afraid you’ll hit them, you haven’t taught them how to behave. You’ve taught them what you’re willing to do to them.
